The Canadian Standards of Practice in Case Management represent a consensus document based on the collective wisdom of the NCMN Standards Roundtable, NCMN Standards Workgroup, NCMN membership, and Case Management communities of practice.
Case Management is practiced by an ever increasing number of individuals and organizations. The practice domains cross disciplines and sectors both locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. The benefits of Case Management increase exponentially when Case Managers integrate their work across these spectrums.
The National Case Management Network (NCMN) of Canada developed the Canadian Standards of Practice in Case Management from a Case Management standards roundtable, a workgroup formed to begin the collaboration to complete a document.
As the document took shape, interested parties were invited to review and comment on the work completed to date.
Thank you to all who submitted their comments and suggestions, we truly have a set of case management standards representative of all health care sectors from all areas.
The National Case Management Network has received funding grants to host roundtables on the development of National Case Management Standards from the Canadian Institute of Health Research.
